Angela knew she wanted to be a hairdresser since she was four years old.

The sixth in a family of seven, Angela grew up in a modest household in Birmingham, England. With an enthusiastic passion for hair she embarked on her storied career after finishing high school. Her natural talent and flair advanced her quickly, allowing her to work with some of the best hairstylists in the world such as Hairdressing Hall of Fame inductee Chris Baran and Kris Sorbie, as well as celebrated photographer Gene Hattori.

An award-winning hairstylist Angela has won first place in women’s haircutting, the Gold medal for the L’Oreal hair color trophy awards, men’s haircutting, men’s and women’s total look makeover, and women’s hairstyling. As one of the American representatives she was a finalist in the category of International Hairdresser of the year. Her work has graced the pages of Modern Salon, Vogue, Elle, Allure, Marie Claire, and Salon Magazine and many other beauty and fashion publications. Angela has also been involved with the Women’s Television Network and television programs such as America’s Next Top Model, as well as Broadway shows.

As a Master Colorist and a Redken Certified Hair Colorist Angela’s talents have taken her all over North America educating for Redken, instructing salons in the latest and most advanced techniques in hair coloring and styling.

As noted for her pleasant, calm demeanor behind the chair, as for her stunning creations in it. Angela’s sensitivity towards the diverse demands and personalities of the actresses, fashion editors, socialites and media figures, who comprise her clientele, has brought her a devoted following. Her clients appreciate Angela’s belief: that time spent in her chair should be a relaxing experience, and when you leave the salon your hair should be the glamorous extension of whom you are inside.

While she skillfully avoids creating anything that could be called her signature cut, Angela strives to give all her clients the same thing: a warm, clean, modern look that blends the glamor and refinement of uptown with all the youth and vitality of downtown. It's a simple idea really: allow every woman to express herself easily, naturally and beautifully, with gorgeous healthy hair.

And yes, she does all this for men, too.
